Power restored to most Pacific Power residents

Power was restored to all but 1,200 Pacific Power customers in Oregon and Southwest Washington Sunday evening. Strong overnight winds had knocked out power to roughly 43,000 customers, said Pacific Power spokesman Tom Gauntt. The majority of outages occurred in Astoria, Seaside and in the Grants Pass area.
